Turi Sioson is a queer, Filipina-Italian American poet, editor, and publicist based in Austin, TX.

She’s the publicity director and poetry/fiction editor at Sunstroke Press, publicity manager and reader for Abode Press, and a reader and reviewer for ONLY POEMS. Her poetry has appeared or is forthcoming in The Hopkins Review, Epiphany Magazine, The Texas Review, The Freshwater Review, and The Luna Collective, among others. She is a former intern of W. W. Norton, Texas Book Festival, Farrar, Straus and Giroux.

She holds a BA in English and Honors Creative Writing Certificate in Poetry from The University of Texas at Austin, and a copyediting certificate from Emerson College. You can find her sitting in the sun after a long swim or browsing the poetry at her favorite bookstores.
